What’s hot this summer?

June 21st marked the official first day of summer. If you are trying to find a way to embrace the upcoming months, a great way to do it is by adding pops of color into your wardrobe. As a design major, we are introduced to Pantone color books. If you’ve ever painted a room, you might know what I am talking about. It’s the industry standard for color.

And each season, the Pantone color Institute releases a color trend report to highlight the top colors fashion designers will be featuring in their collections for the upcoming season. Here’s part of the 12 colors released for summer 2019 and they are already starting to be the next big trends we are seeing.

This summer’s need to have colors

If you are like me and stray away from those bright colors but still want to be on trend. There are some easy small ways to incorporate them in the upcoming heat.

Accessories and makeup are the primary way to add those bold pops of color. Whether you are at a backyard barbecue or on the run with the kids. You will look festive and trendy. Our bags are the best side kick this summer and we have all those bold, bright and stunning colors you are looking for.

One of my personal favorites is our signature Lauren bag in Lobster Tail, which matches with Pantone’s Fiesta color trend. It is fun and versatile whether you are on the go or ready to head down to the beach.
