The fall 2022 Runways shown These major handbag trends Are here to stay

fashion Month has come to its official close, and though we’re always sad to see one of the most inspiring times for the industry wind down, it also implies that we’re able to return to our regularly scheduled programming! Over last month, we’ve covered the comings and goings of fashion month from the best street style in new York, Milan and Paris to reviews of collections from Givenchy and Louis Vuitton to Chanel and more. While we’ve always got a pretty good idea of what’s trending and what’s up and coming, it’s during fashion month that all of our predictions are squared away. While the runways did showcase a fair variety of newness (the florals at Fendi, Louis Vuitton, and Dior being one of them), it was impossible to disregard that some of the handbag world’s most significant trends best now continued to reign supreme. There were tons of chunky chains, hobos galore, and a slew of pillow-like, puffy, padded bags seen throughout. The trends we’ve loved (and loathed) remain locked and loaded through 2022. Naturally, Bottega Veneta, who arguably is partly responsible for two of these trends, made the roundup, as did bags from Chanel, Louis Vuitton, and Loewe, who is new to the pillow bag game this season. Take a look below at some of the trends we found during the fall 2022 fashion month.
